Roof motor given up the ghost...

Hi guys, my beloved E-85 2.0i's roof is no longer working. I have done pretty well ro be honest. She is a 07 & the main motor is still in the original place. It waved the white flag a couple of weeks ago & I just have the annoying flashing red led where the roof buttons are. I fastened the roof using the Allen key.

I wanted to ask you guys; do you know of anyone near the Middlewich, Cheshire area, who can/would be able to fix the issue? I certainly don't want to take it to a main dealer & my independent Beemer garage said ask on this forum first. It's really getting under my skin now as I still love my old girl & want her back in all working order!

The Zed Shed can do it in an hour or so while you wait.
Bit of a treck but at least you can go there and back in a day.

Middlewich to Burtonwood is hardly a trek - only a few junctions up the M6. Well worth it though, as Mike will easily sort it.
