Roof leaks and waterproofing

Having switched from a Z3 to a Z4, one of my greatest fears of ownership is a leaky roof. The epic downpour we have had over the last few hours has me worried.

Now I know the Z4 is totally different and I wont have a cracked window or as dodgy window seals, but what do I need to look out for? I'll be proofing with the Auto Glym roof proofer, ill be protecting the rubbers with gummy pfliege. Ive noticed that the rubber seal at the back of the hood can often get slimeyey/grimey/limey. Is this anything to worry about or just needs regular cleaning?
 
You seem to have it covered already- no more maintenance needed- however if the z lives outside keep an eye on the roof drains to protect the motor.

Where are the roof drains and what do they look like?
