Roof leak?

hi guys,

right then I have a soft top Z4 and at the front right of the soft top there must be a leak as the other day I was greeted by a lovely puddle of water in the passenger footwell, thankfully I have rubber floor mats, but this shouldn't happen in my opinion!

has anyone encountered the same or can help?

also there is a significant rattle on the back left of the cars roof as well, this doesn't sound good, and is most noticeable on bumpy roads or over larger bumps?

please help if you can?

Had similar issue with mine, but on the drivers side. Was sorted by the stealers who repositioned the door seal.

Are you sure the rattling isn't a broken rear spring? most of us have had at least a couple of springs break and they rattle going over bumps etc.
 
thanks for the help guys,

right then we are going to have a look at the door seal at some point this week, but after opening the roof up yesterday and closing it again it doesnt seem to have leaked in the rain again? is this just a one off or is it a sign that the seal is going but slowly?

thanks for pointing out the rear springs to me buddy, ill have a look at those too and if they are shot then a set of eibachs might be on the purchase list :) she has felt a bit wobbly lately and not as planted to the road, bit concerned for her at the moment but need to wait till summer to get her in a garage and looked at properly!

lets hope she lasts the winter months to come!
