Roof leak/adjustment

A search did not reveal an answer to this. I have a leak in the roof just where the roof meets the windscreen pillar, and seems to be that the two seals are not tight enough. Is there an adjustment I can make just to slightly tighten the joint. I have loohked at the mech and can see a bolt head beside the closing "hook", is this the adjustment source or should I leave well alone. It is a nuisance to get to my main dealers bodyshop, so would like to fix myself if poss.
Thanks for any help!

Oooh deffo leave this alone as once you start you'll have all sorts of knock ons. You're in warranty, don't faff, take it back! Plus if they ever find out you've meddled, your warranty might be voided on the roof mech.

I had a small leak and filled the gap in the windscreen surround with clear/dark silicone. I don't have a warranty to worry about though

I had a slight drip there on mine when I got the car. Only now and then after it had been standing in heavy rain. Didn't leak until I got in and shut the door? Mentioned it on the last service and been cured now so my guess is they can tighten it up (maybe they adjust how hard the window closes).

Also check that area with the roof open as the rubber does seem to have a drainage channel in it. Make sure it isn't blocked.

Krytox sorted mine, just apply some on each end of the header rail.

You will probably find if you if you have a leak if you drop the roof and put it back up it will seal better next time.

Definitely do not meddle with it.

Can you tell me what "Krytox" is please?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Krytox-Oxygen-Compatible-Grease-20-grams-rebreather-O2-Nitrox-Regulator-Service-/200959364892?pt=UK_SportingGoods_Scuba_SnorkellingEquipment_SM&hash=item2eca1c8f1c

Used on diving equipment to lubricate seals etc but also very good as a sealant on Automotive rubbers on cabriolets.
