Roof Issue - Repair Options

The roof on my 3.0i SE opens and locks with the motor but has to be manually lifted and lowered.

It has never been relocated so just trying to decide how best to resolve - can anyone suggest what my best option would be please?

Sounds like the usual:

Drains blocked
Water logged motor

Needs removal- once removed it should come back to life... then relocate it to the boot area

Plenty of options of people who will do it on here for a price- where are you based?
