Hi all, am after some advice.
I've been searching these forums for someone who had similar symptoms with their roof but none seems to match mine unless Ive missed something.
The opening procedure of my roof is perfect; it works seamlessley. However, when I come to close the roof, it's extremely slow. I can hear the motor, and it starts to rise slowly, but the whole process probably takes upto 30 seconds.
My Zed is a 57 plate so is the facelift model. My searching tells me that motor corrosion was more of a problem with the pre-facelifts Z4's.
That all said, I'm after your thoughts/advice...
* Is the motor knackered or is it on it's way to being knackered?!
* Do I simply need to oil the roof?
* Could it be anything else?
Any feedback is much appreciated.
Cheers,
James
