Yup that's what I paid

I gave mine away. Surprised they fetch that much as they are rather annoying to have. Someone gave them to me for free as well.

I did think about getting a set but the downside is you forget you have them fitted and you put the roof up

they just drop out of the way,

I have them but only really use them with the hard top on. Cuts down a little road noise and gives a nice finish. I have used them on occasion in the summer but the British weather doesn't always play ball.

where do you store them when not in use? im not opening the boot to pull out 2 plastic bits every time i open the roof!!

aside from that I think these bits are way over priced

Yep... really like having them on for longer journeys (1 hour +) for the wind noise reduction. Used a lot going around Europe. But really not worth putting on every time the roof goes down.

My high tech solution... I have a little patch of black electrical tape that I put on the roof up button when the covers are in place. Works a treat. Store the tape on the underside of the ashtray lid.

If some come along at the right price they're worth having - they don't really wear at all so you probably won't lose much selling them on later

I had seen these on a car i was going to buy.. just seemed like too much effort removing them whenever i wanted to put the roof up.

If i lived in a warmer + safer place where i could leave the roof down all the time then i would consider this.

I did have a trick - close the roof a couple of cm or so, they then pop up. You can then reach over and pick them up and put them on the floor in the passenger side.

Does that not risk damaging something?

Nope, they pull off really easy so the slight pressure of the roof closing is enough to pop them out.

nice idea - do they also fill the 1/2" gap between the fabric plate that hides the hardtop bolts and the door - (sorry no pics to hand)

Here are a couple of pics I took ages ago. Not got any other angles at the mo. It doesn't hide the join but does neaten up the rest.
