Ah, okay.
Thanks for the clarification. Just as well I checked 😀

I'll have a look online for them and see if I can get to them to replace them.

Thanks again!
If you are in the UK, Sopers of Lincoln (BMW dealer who give a small discount for forum members) will supply them posted for about £33 for both. The part numbers are on the thread linked to above. A really easy job to do swap them too. The instructions are on the linked thread again.
Good luck

Thanks @Pondrew - much appreciated...
I'll give them a go as I'm going to be in Lincolnshire this week.

And of course, get the 2 salmon relays replaced by new ones as well!

Yup, that wasn't me being dense... that was me being unsure as to whether or not the original response was a native English-speaker or not.
Not always easy to know if Google translate is 100% accurate, is it?

I know the difference between a switch and a relay, but I figured it was more polite to pose the question than say "are you sure you don't mean a relay?"

Now to find where those relays...err, I mean switches go. 😀

Thanks Rob,

will give it a go when I've got the parts from our Beamer friends in Lincoln.

Cheers

Umpff! :? :o
No, I'm not a native English speaker. But - I hardly ever don't use any translation software.
So - what's wrong as non native English speaker, when I write "microswitch"?

Nothing wrong with microswitch at all - but I'm a native English speaker and a non-native Swedish speaker. There are times I resort to Google translate for certain terms in Swedish (in Swedish which I'm guessing is similar to German, it would be a "fackterm") which are related to a specific areas.
That was what I was worried about... and now I see that it's all "kinematics box" which really messes with my language abilities 😂

I've found somewhere that will supply those parts in the UK so hopefully I can try and get them installed and see if it will make any difference.
Thank you massively for your help. It has been really, really helpful.
I'm at my wits end with this thing, and like you said, it really doesn't look like a pump problem.
