Roof drains

Not strictly a problem, but I'm possibly going to attempt to check the drains on my facelift Zed tomorrow. Now, is there a drain either side?
Also has anyone a good pictorial guide. All I've found so far the pictures have expired and I'm a paint by pictures kind of guy.

Yes you have a drain each side of the car, I checked mine by pouring a small amount of water down the side of the roof each side of the car & checked it poured out underneath-drains exit behind the sills just in front of the rear wheels but sometimes the water runs along the sill & exits behind the front wheels depending on the angle of the car-there's a how to on utube I think

Cheers again Rob! I did find a video of an American fella, is there an easier way than removing the wheel and part of the wheel arch?

Not a video, but they are located here almost flush to the outer body panel inside a small recess:

I never did either, raise the car by driving onto some wood/kerb or jack it up & with a bit of trial and error you can reach up to remove the bungs

Thanks guys, I'll jack the car up tomorrow and give it, erm, uh, a reach around so to speak. So I should be able to access the bungs without taking anything off?

Yes - but they do try to hide and you are working blind, even though I know where they are is still takes me a while to locate the damn things.

This is a view from the rear right hand side wheelarch, looking forwards. Wheelarch liner removed, but you dont have to to be able to see it. My blowgun is blowing straight up into the drain hole.

Hope this helps.
Andy.

If you remove the small cover in the rear arch the you should be able to see what you're doing. Taking the wheels off help but not necessary. As it's your first time I would take the wheels off to find where everything is. Next time you can do it by feel.
