It is going to be 27F tonight. Top up. I have noticed over the years that new owners of roadsters tend to push the edges of the envelope. I am driving my third convertible and so I don't feel the need to risk frostbite by top down driving when the weather is very brisk. But, I have also noticed that other owners drive around with tops up on perfect days. If it's 78F and sunny and you have your top up, what are you waiting for? Fool, this as good as it gets. Maybe it's a concern about hairstyle and wind.

I'm new to all this top down malarkey. I've come to a couple of conclusions... 1) I freaking love it! 2) I need a haircut. I have shoulder length hair that typically looks and feels like an old bird's nest after a short, open drive :?

Hats are essential for shoulder length hair, I have loads of hats from large straw ones and trilby's to faux fur hats that cover my ears for winter driving, however the only problem then is helmet hair. Oh to have thick luscious hair instead of it being blonde, fine and wispy :tumbleweed:

Mines exactly the same Sars! :o

When I had my Roadster the former Mrs Guvnor added two new additions to the glove compartment - hair brush and hair band - which seemed to keep her long blonde hair in check.

I've said it before and I'll say it again:

Roof stays down unless the storm's got a name!
