Roof down..over 400 miles...maybe.....

Well its time for me to set of for work and im thinking of doing the whole journey with the roof down..thats Nottingham to Aberdeen nearly 450 miles...but its not often that good weather is forcast for the the entire trip...i wonder if il manage it.........
 
Take a hat and a coat in case it rains, simples have a great and safe road trip :thumbsup:
 
Well, just did it... Nottingham to Aberdeen with the roof and windows down all the way.... Over 430 miles, average speed 72.7 mph... 34 mpg.... Diddnt stop smileing g the whe journey!!!!

I know what you mean with the smiling. I done the 250 miles from London to the Lakes last year,roof and windows down all the way. Loved every minute.

Which considering 200 of those miles was in Scotland has to be some kind of record :D

Good point mate-is there a record for the longest single trip with the roof down? :driving: (well done!)
 
I realize now that Having great weather 90% of the time is a blessing and to be appreciated especially when you own a roadster! :driving:
 
Not a bad effort, although my 540 miles from Oxfordshire to NE scotland trumps it a wee bit :wink:

Wasn't in a z4 though, was in my MR2 roadster, does that count?
