Roof died after Battery Flat

Hi guy, I was overseas for a week and didn't start the car.... Batt died and I changed a new piece. All ok after the batt replacement but now the roof can't operate.

Anything I done wrong?

Have you left the parcel shelf in the "up" position?

There are two black knobs either side of the boot space, above suspension turrets. (You can see the right hand side one in the picture below). These knobs have a 1/4 turn movement to give slightly more storage in boot when roof is up. The roof will not lower if the shelf is "up". On an M the battery is in the boot and so it easier to access the battery the shelf in the "up" position. Maybe this was done during the battery swap?
There is also micro-switch that is used to detect position, so it could also be this faulty or knocked somehow if the shelf is physically already in the lowered position.
