roof dead - orange light

Hi guys -

ive just been out in the car today and went to lower the hood and there was nothing - it was dead and displaying a solid orange light when i press the button.

Does anyone know what the orange light means and things i can check myself?

An obvious one to check is the two knobs in the boot which move the lower part of the roof,apologies if you have tried that.Good luck
 
That would be the first one to check. i nearly pooped my pants when i saw that and then remembered i had the boot full a week before.

i have had this, just turn the knobs so it goes down, then turn them again so it goes back up (or the other way round sorry) and you will find that all is well again.
 
LOL just laughing at the 'two knobs in the boot' comment, sorry but Its Friday and it put an interesting image in my head :rofl:

Yes I believe the tray should be down when the roof is up as this provides the space for the roof to fold into.
 
its for long journeys etc if you need that little extra height. i leave it down when i can so the roof will just drop.

hi guys - well i got in tonight and disconnected the battery and loan behold after reconnecting - the hood works perfect again...?
