Roof cleaning

I know this has been covered many times, but I just want to make 100% sure before i buy it.

My car is going in for some body work on the 27th and he's going to buff and polish it for me also. He said if I get the kit, he'll do the roof also for £35

1st thing is: is it worth paying someone to do it? I live on a top floor apartment and have no hose and stuff, so surely it's worth the 35 notes?

Also, after doing a forum search I keep hearing about the Autoglym products, so was going to buy this, is it the best and right one?

If it's being done by somebody who knows what they are doing a proper machine polish will make your car look a hundred times better - it's extremely unlikely that you could achieve the same results in a month of Sundays trying to polish the car by hand...

So, if he knows what he's doing, £35 is a relative bargain to get your roof machine polished... as long as you have a coupe and not a roadster...

Sorry mate, I mean he's buffing the car and waxing it and while doing that he's going to clean the roof (I own a roadster) so was looking for the best kit to buy to clean a material roof.

I bought the BMW kit for my roadster. Cleaned and re-proofed the hood, and have l.o.a.d.s left over, enough to do it again a million times! Looks good though :D
