Hi everyone just a quick question ,

Cleaned the roof with the Auto Glym kit yesterday but didn't get chance to put the protector on before it started raining ? Will this be a problem ?

No - just let it dry out fully and apply.
Only concern I'd have is if you took it driving and got it filthy before you applied protector.

Do you make certain your drains are clear Badger - a lot of water can get down into the motor housing when using the AutoGlym kit. I try and block up the back of the roof with old towels when I clean my roof.

I'm with cj10 above

Brilliant as always you guys are fab thank you - drains are clear - roof looks like new so tomorrow will have a quick 2nd clean (weather permitting) and then apply the protector - thanks guys x

I'm sure the instructions say to put the proofer on when the roof was still damp?
I could be wrong as haven't got it to hand, but I'm almost certain.

If that's the manufacturer recommendation then that's certainly the right thing to do. The Ragtopp I use requires it dry.

Issue is therefore what to do if it is rain soaked before application. I'd suggest therefore seek manufacturers advice.

Only used AG so wouldn't know about the others available. But op says is using AG.

Autoglym protector goes onto damp roof. I double checked bottle and it states damp roof

i thought the roof had to be damp when applying the protector

edit: just read other comments, autoglyn says to have the roof damp, i cleaned mine and then applied the protector straight away
