How to clean roof

What is the best way to clean roof and make it look black again ? Any help would be grateful thanks

I use raggtopp. The only make bmw approve, makes it look perfect and hides crease marks.

Cleaned my wife's soft top with Autoglym but I don't think it has ever been cleaned so I'm going to have to do it again at the end of the season as it still has some stains on it

Done this many times , recently with a very shabby & algae covered roof
Its a relatively simple process
1)Agitate the roof with a handbrush
2)Hoover roof
3)snowfoam + jetwash
4)hand scrub with a kitchen fleece type sponge using a solution of Bold (or similar ) & in extreme cases add Swarfega to it ( as in the green hand cleaner)
5) apply a solution of 50-50 black liquid shoe dye & either Auto Finesse or Autoglym roof sealer

if extremely bad just repeat some or all of the above , this is mine after just one clean + colour & it was pretty bad
