Is it that my fingers are like sand paper or is this a common thing. Decals rubbing off the roof buttons.
Is there a replacement decal available ??

Yes it's pretty common as these cars are now getting older. You can get stickers or even replacement buttons from the usual places like eBay Aliexpress etc. Some here have gone down that road and perhaps can chime in and give you some links. You can also from time to time find the whole switch panel from breakers on eBay usually they are quite pricey but occasionally you can get them at a bargain price.

Oh dear. Wish I’d seen this before. Have a replacement button and it’s a much bigger job than I thought.

It's genuinely not a difficult job, just take your time and follow my video.

Strange :| I've done two sets now, that I've sold on, and have both been a good match.
 
The decals work ok, but I masked them off and applied a couple quick sprays of clear laquer to stop them being worn away quickly
