Not quite,.. smarttop will do that but i believe it can also be coded in

In my experience (which could be inaccurate), you can code folding mirrors in if you have them fitted, but you need to hold the lock button just a bit longer to activate them (and they unfold automatically when unlocking the car)

Smart top does fully automatic folding on locking as Rob states - no need for a longer press.

I believe that NCSExpert can program the mirrors to fold with the lock press without having to hold it, but I prefer the option to have the choice if they fold or not, certainly in the winter when there’s always the chance they could freeze and something may break.

Looks like everyone on here have bought them, just looked now and they are all sold out!

I coded folding mirrors using Carista and if I remember correctly I could change the timing so that they fold instantly rather than having to hold the button down for 3 seconds. If I remember correct I changed it to 1 second rather than 3 since sometimes I don't want or need to fold them.

Closing the roof with the fob, some debate as to if you can actually do this, but if it does then it is only capable if you have Comfort Access (no guarantee though).
Folding the mirrors with the fob, this one is codable but only in certain circumstances, I've had some that will code in and some that simply wont, so this is a bit hit and miss.

Morning all,
As some of you know, I produce E89 specific videos on YouTube, so give me a couple of days and I'll put together a How-To for replacing these., after all you don't want to break anything!!
I'll start it this morning and have it sorted shortly, hopefully before you need it.

Don't suppose you have produced a video that shows how to remove the centre console in order to repair the armrest hinge - looks like I have all the necessary parts but no means of reattaching them without taking everything out?

If you go to 19 minutes on this video I show how to lift the full centre console, so in practice you just continue to raise it up. And @ 07:48 I show how to remove the centre console trim, but that's included in the video I've just posted above as well.
