Roof button not lighting up.

Newbie Here,
When I pushed my roof down button today it didn't light up but the roof still worked,what did happen whilst roof was going down was roof up switch lit up green and then went out when roof was fully down.When I press roof up button it lights up green and goes out when fully locked.These buttons should go red whilst movement on the boot and turn green when either up or down is complete??-My heated seat buttons are working and lighting up on the end of this unit so can I buy just the buttons?-seems like I need the up and the down?-Thanks guys!

A proper introduction might help stating which model of Z4 you have. We’d also like to see a photo or two of your pride and joy 😁
 
Both buttons don’t light green, from memory the up button lights green for both up and down and the roof down button lights red if you take your finger off or there is a fault
