Roof Anti Trap plastic bracket snapped?

Hello,

Putting the roof up as I parked the other day, heard a plastic snapping sound! eeek! please dont be something to do with the motor ,please dont be a motor!!

To the right of me is a plastic bracket which I think is part 54317110940 Anti Trap?

At £20 quid a pop they sure are an expensive little piece of plastic.

Anyone had any problems with them snapping? how effective are they at making the roof run smoother? before I shell out some cash on replacements.

do you have any pictures of this piece of plastic? im not sure which part you are referring to?
