Another Rosemary update

Latest news re Ron. Now in rehab at Stanhope Community Hospital - couldn’t be further away. Likely to be there for at least next couple of weeks. I can’t visit as I have hurt my foot and can’t walk on it. Many thanks again everyone for your support x

 Thanks for the update.

I’ve been using a walker and can get to the toilet now!
There has to be a carer to keep me stable by hanging onto my breeks!

Good news! Keep getting up and having a mooch about, helps with your core strength and getting it back to 100%.

Keep up the good work

Good to hear.
And you’ve taught me a new word, I’ve not encountered “breeks” before.

Thanks for the update Rosemary and Andy.

Hello everyone, Ron gave me a call tonight for a catch up.

His current situation is that he’s gained a bit more movement in his hands but has lost some dexterity. I think the main objective is to get him moving again and they’ll fine tune coordination etc as they go.

He’s going to be moved to a care home in the next week or but that’s more so he has his own facilities and some privacy and he will get intensive physio while there. ATM it’s looking like that’ll be for at least 4 weeks.

Ron being Ron he’s putting a brave face on it but is quite concerned that he won’t regain full/previous movement. As usual in these types of situations it’s the unknown that’s the bugg@r. He asked me to pass on his thanks for all responses and well wishes and hopefully it’ll not be too long before he’s back behind the wheel of his Zed :driving:
