I assume now we have a Labour Gov that will be sleeping policemen!! And some 20 mph signs. :headbang:

Im now in intermediate care and in my own room!
Bored to tears of course. I have to be escorted to the toilet with my wheeled frame a and helped with self care.

I’m still in a solid by neck collar really möve my head - It can’t be removed to shower so i feel absolutely filthy

Physio has been limited to assessments and a few basic excercises

I don’t expect a quick but they tell me a fix has been predicted .
I live with hope thar i will be back in the Z4 next year!

Being in your own room must be an improvement, but a neck collar doesn't sound too comfortable. Still it's good to know a fix is predicted.

Think positive and fingers crossed you'll be back in your Z4 this year.

Using your ability to type accurately as evidence, your hand function seems to have improved in just a few weeks. I’m sure it must be enormously frustrating, but it’s good to hear that significant improvement is anticipated, even if it’s going to take time.
At least the building work that caused all of this should be finished by the time you escape back to home!

Good to hear from you Ron, sounds like you're making progress, hopefully you will keep improving as the days pass  keep motivated and you will be out and about very soon.

All the best,

Tim.

Well, Dr_john did tell him to keep his pecker up!

My neck collar is a 24/7 job another few weeks to go- it will be a bio hazard when it’s removed on the 23rd July

Dexterity is improving but far from ok as is daily basics
Ie Putting on a pair of socks requires a helper.

Keep up the good work, another twelve days and you can see your feet and then you'll be exercising by picking up your wallet

Steady as she goes and you will get there. Must be really exciting watching all that daytime TV

Keep at it Ron. I’m sure you will be back behind the wheel before too long. There are times when being a stubborn old b#++*r works in your favour..

My solid neck brace is on until 23rd July- uncomfortable is an understatement!

I can get to the toilet with my walking frame and an assistant so it’s a “step” forward.
