Rolling Stones

Well if I'm still rocking & doing the wild thing as much when I reach their age, will b a happy man.

Saw the Stones I the 90's for what I thought was one of their last tours (Steel Wheels) ... 3 & a half hours - NO BREAKS, Mick at full throttle & whizzing everywhere... epic... only Band I've seen in same category since has been the Foos

Long live them all

Well ... I enjoyed Keef's book!

The Stones deserve credit for just being the Stones ... for this long.

My son queued for something like 31 hours outside Waterstones in London and was IIRC third in the queue and thus got to meet Keith in person and get one of only 10 copies of the book that he actually signed in the UK, all the others sold there had previously signed pages inserted!

He did all this without a word to me (his mother of course was in on it all the time) and gave it to me for Christmas together with the "Book Tour" t-shirt Keith gave to the first 5 and a framed selection of photos from the occasion that he'd put together that included the wrist band with his queue number on etc.

And I did laugh when he told me he tried to hide from the Sky news team in case I saw him on TV and spoiled the surprise!

A superb gift and I don't just mean the book!
