Roll hoop mesh

Hi there guys. Can anyone tell me if the mesh inside the passenger and drivers roll hoop can be replaced? Mine has perished . I wont be doing it myself but would be interested to know if there is a kit that can be purchased?

Yes- I’ve done this several times on e85s

Material can be found on eBay quite cheap and have a search on here for how to do it well- keeping the tension on it while you replace it is key

:D thankyou i am thinking of asking my panel beater to do it for me as i am no good at repairs...the roll loop itself doesnt need to be replaced does it? Do i just look for wind breaker mesh or is there a specific code? Thankyou for your help :)

No worries

The hoop itself has a rubber inlay that when removed and a couple of metal clips are removed the mesh pops out

The rubber insert also helps the tension on the mesh

If it helps I can do it for you I’ve a few metres of mesh left

On the hoop inserts, how do you get it pulled tight over the Perspex?

You are so kind yes i would love someone to do ot for me are you in new zealand? There is an exposed piece of wire down the bottom does this need to be replaced? This is where the mesh has come disconnected from. This photo was taken at night during my night shift Thank you for your help

On the inserts it’s easier to keep tension
