If I could wrap that's exactly what I'd do... However after failing to wrap a dash, a rear diffuser and a door handle on an epic scale... I went with the paint :lol:

theirs a real science to wrapping..... understanding the material inside and out is the key.... it REALLY isnt a case of stick it on and done....But once youve got those mastered, you can achieve paint like finish!!

My mate has a wrapping and tinting business and I’ve helped him several times. I’d tackle certain things, actually done some inside my car.
I’d certainly do my hoops but I want them body coloured so paint is my only option.

How much does your mate charge? I wouldn't mind getting my hoops wrapped by someone who knows what they're doing. I just wonder if it would look right when everything else is real CF.

You’ve just painted yours, why would you want them wrapping?

I'm waiting to lacquer them and stick them on to see how they look but the rest of my interior is this:




I wanted to go all Carbon fiber with the hoops too but wasn't forking out £300 to get it done.

I've just spoken to the place that made the carbon gaiters in the picture above. They said that within the next ten working days they will start listing leather covers for the roll hoops, which is ideal for me as I can match them to the interior.

Nice! Hoping they can do some red colour matched ones to go with my soft-top wonder how they would fit around the OEM wind deflector mounting points aswell?
