I agree with cj10, but disagree with leaving the centre console silver. It needs to match the dash IMO.

Just one other thing, wouldn't it have been cheaper to buy a pair of black ///M ones and fit them?

hey bmwrangler, was a bit of a 'must do' TBH, didnt fully look into the //M versions... anyone know how much they are? bet they are more than £170 tho.... :roll:
 
I wasn't suggesting just to leave the centre console. I agree it needs to theme with the dash, just that somehow it has to have some colour interest. Just a thought

i would leave the 'cheap plastic pieces of plastic' (critical design feature, apparently) well off as there is enough clutter on the rear end of the z4.......

The roll hoops look great !
 
Excellent couple of changes - I didn't expect to like the lights from reading your description, but was nicely surprised when I scrolled down. Top work :thumbsup:

Overall top job though mate - the hoops definitely look better in black, and on your car IMO the gloss black looks best

That's made up my mind for me, roll bars wrapped in c.f. along with a rewrap of the front and rear rails to match!
 
loving the roll hoops... certainly something i plan to do in summer now.

Personally i like the french fries.
 
I love the bars! Look ace. It's a bit pointless doing mine as it's sterling grey / silver. Duh!
Like the lights too, can never decide if a clear brake light us better than red?
Is it just me or does your car look very dusty? Give it a clean!

Good job on the Dash, if my interior trim was black (instead of grey) i would attempt the carbon wrap.

I think the lights look much more modern without the chips!
