Gravel road damaged paint on the leading and trailing faces of my rocker panels looks unsightly, so I'm considering having them repainted. Is it possible to remove these panels without undue effort?

I’ve never heard of a “rocker” panel, what is it? :?

Im going to guess its the side skirts as thats what seems to get road rash the most.

Easy enough, remove all the push lock pins along the bottom of the sill. The bit in the centre pulls out to unlock.
From memory there might be two screws and then unclip from the sides.
Get ready to remove all the dried mud that collects behind them.
