Rocker panel replacement

The passenger side panel below the door of my 2008 Z4 is all scuffed and scraped and after doing some research, discovered the panel isn't that expensive to buy but how easy is it to replace ? Are there specialist tools required ? Has anybody on here done one ? Any feedback on this would be appreciated.

If you're talking about the plastic sills along the bottom of each side, then it's a fairly common job - and not difficult from what I can tell.

You will probably need some replacement clips, bound to break a few getting the old covers out. Iems 2 and 3 in the diagram for sill cover and inner sill cover.
