Rocker gasket help 3.0si

Hi all,

I have been following some how to’s on this but can’t get to one of the bolts which is preventing getting the rocker cover off.

I simply don’t have enough room to get a socket and ratchet below the pipe and onto it.

It’s the bolt under the pipe circled in yellow.

Any tips, should I be looking to remove the pipe??

Have you tried a universal joint on the socket?

Extension bars also.

I have a set of 3/8" 'wobble' drive extensions which in conjunction with a short/stubby socket often allow access to a nut or bolt that is awkward to get to

That’s the engine breather (ccv) pipe, if it’s in the way it’s easily removed by pressing the retaining clip

Thanks guys.

The ccv hose just left no room to get to the bolt but managed to get there in the end by removing it. Unfortunately I saw that the CCV hose was damaged and leaking a small bit of oil so needs to be replaced.

Does anyone know if I can just replace that hose and if so what the part number is??
