Rocker cover gasket help needed

Need some help identifying right part numbers.
Looking to replace the gasket on the rocker cover.

Car is the 3.0 E86 Coupe with the silver top engine.
I believe it’s the metal gasket I need.
Can anyone confirm and supply a part number or link to the product?

Secondly, I believe the bolts that are removed on the cover can’t be reused.
Again, can anyone point me I the direction of part numbers or a link to the actual product somewhere? I have suspicions that there are different size of bolts…not sure.

Thanks

I did mine earlier this year and sourced the parts from Autodoc.

Bolts - https://www.autodoc.co.uk/febi-bilstein/9809500

Rocker Cover Gasket - https://www.autodoc.co.uk/elring/988414

Disa Gasket - https://www.autodoc.co.uk/elring/9862000

As somebody who has not done a lot of work on cars/bikes for some time It took me a few hours to do but is relatively straight forward.

You will need torque wrench and also the bolt heads are a male Torx fitting.

Good luck.

Also make sure you retorque the replacement bolts in the correct order to avoid later leaks (from the middle outwards). As mentioned before, you will need a torque wrench, but check it will go down low enough on the torque setting, I had to dash out mid-task and purchase a smaller torque wrench midway through the job.

If you go to BMW for the parts use Sophers BMW at Lincoln and ask for Forum discount, they are very good and will post parts out to you. Autodoc also OK but delivery time can vary, they do Elring gaskets which is a good make.

Thanks everyone, I had a look at Realoem and struggled to work out the bolt situation. Good to know that there are 22 of them required.
What's the torque on them? I suspect my current wrench won't go that low if they are aluminium.

Try this link: https://youtu.be/rRK-lLR7YqI?t=1250

Note the very low torque (7Nm), remember the 30 minute wait time to allow relaxation, and then final angle torque (90degr).

While you are planning the VC job, look carefully at your ESS sensor seal. If there is any oil weeping around it, replace it while the VC is off - it must be installed from the inside of the VC . . . . which could mean a lot more work later.

Best of luck - post when you're done !

This  I did this even though it wasn`t weeping as not worth the hassle of probably having to do at a later stage .
