I would really like to see this guy out qualify and out drive his team mate at Williams next year . The fact he has a race seat next year albeit in a crap car is something of a miracle, I wish him every success . :)
 
Bit tough on George Russell but I agree....Kubica was on the verge of greatness, massively quick driver, I too hope he is successful. :thumbsup: :driving:
 
Yes, it's great news - I always rated him.

Hopefully they can both do a bit better than Stroll and Sirotkin! :lol:

Indeed....Sirotkin just isn’t quick enough and Stroll a spoilt brat, the comment he made mid season said it all, “What’s the point of racing right now”. The point is you rich daddy’s boy is you have a seat paid for to learn race craft with an historic team going through a low spell, you try your hardest and give the team every ounce of input.

I’m glad they’re rid of Stroll, they don’t need mardy rich kids. Let’s hope Russell makes a good job of it, he’s very young but seems to have a good attitude.
 
Will be very interested how he gets on as the muscle waste in his right arm looks like my left arm so to drive an F1 car let alone any race car is impressive good luck to the man.

Great podcast interview with Kubica if you guys not heard it. Hope he can prove there’s plenty of fight still left in him, and sneak a podium or two in somehow, and maybe even move to higher performing team down the line.
