Roadster to Coupe

Thanks for your views folks the roadster has gone so i will have to make my mind up c'ant afford the M just out of reach with running costs etc It looks like the coupe is the one, other options Boxster or 350Z. Porsche would be a older car and the Z top road tax and thirst count against it.My search begins

forget the Boxter, i had a brief look and they all have a common engine issue which leads to massive bills, thats why they are so cheap at the moment, just ticking time bombs.

i'm also one that wanted to upgrade to a coupe but i'm looking at other cars now as the Z4 just lacks any real personality, it just feels like a machine to me.

not driven a 350z yet but they do look like they out spec the Z4 by a fair bit, much better brakes, more power, cheaper etc... i think i will give one a try!

Tend to agree in some respects the BMW is a bit ( 3 piece suit) compared to the 350Z (friday night gear).Only sat in a 350Z but it seems alot of car for 2 seats had to many pies i think, sure it will be great fun to drive interior a bit fragile on the early ones.Let us know what you think after a test drive.

Ive had the roof off mine every day now since the Wales run i think... Even though im developing a permanent quiff with various stones and flies stuck in my hair, i definitely wouldnt want to change - you cant beat it
