Roadster to Coupe and vice versa

Moved from a stratus grey 2.0I roadster to a sapphire black 3.0SI Coupe.
Roadster gets more Road noise and I couldn't bring myself to stuff the dog in the boot! Plus open top motoring isn't for me, especially with the non-existent exhaust note :fuelfire:
Coupe is more refined, but somehow more interior creaks (older and more miles so time related I guess) also the dog fits in the boot making it a great daily

I'm lucky have both. But if I had to choose,I think Coupe wins now. But then id still have daddy Z3.
D

I love the shape of the coupe and for awhile had a Cayman. In the end there is nothing quite like driving country roads with the top down. So for me the Roadster wins. But if you can justify it, as others have said. Have both.

If I could I would trust me but I run a 3 series estate too so whilst I'm happy for it to go, it would buy me a coupe

As it's not my daily I have a Roadster if it was my daily then mmmmm?

Both look great, it's just the plastic on plastic squeak that drives me mad ( wind deflector I think)

Been out today and it's almost too hot for a roadster

Same here! But my 3 series estate is partnered with a Z4 Coupe because I think they look stunning!

I've never wanted any sort of convertible anyway!

A sportscar is about roof down motoring to me. I really missed it when I had a hard top 911.

All the better to listen to that fabulous engine note too :D

Roadster + hardtop for the win ...Obvious innit :P

Was impressed with my hard top over the winter, didnโ€™t creak, no wind noise, quieter, all round daily drive. Cheapest way to own โ€œbothโ€ ..... for me the point of a Z4 was the roof down option.
