Roadster owners, wear your hats...

i used to go cornwall every year, then it got windy then it rained, and we thought sod this...we go to france now 8)

When you are young you think you are invincible. I never used sun cream or wore any sort of protective headgear. Now in my 70s i’m paying the price. Waiting to have treatment for Solar Keratosis caused by sun damage. So take the advice or like me you might regret it. :headbang:

wow, may i ask where on the body this is ?
It is on the top of my head and on my face. Worst scenario is that it can develop into skin cancer if not treated. Hopefully in my case treatment, which involves freezing and ointments, will deal with it. However, it means I can no longer sit out in the sun and what is really annoying is that I have to wear a hat/cap when driving with the top down. My hair is a lot thinner than it used to be but I really enjoyed feeling the wind blow through it on a sunny day.
Having said that there are folks out there much worse off than I am.

I was out last night at 10 driving round with the roof down trying to cool down! Cracking thunderstorm in the early hours of this morning, left my velux windows open though now the carpets wet. Not had that happen before, it was very windy though.

Before last night's thunder storm I don't think it has rained in Cornwall for several weeks. :D

Very happy that it's only 20 odd degree s here too. 30+ is simply too hot.

Great pics John. Happily I know those beaches well. 8)

Love this weather... it’s crap 90% of the time, so just enjoy it. I point the aircon at my feet with the roof down, full blast and the difference it makes is amazing, :dance2: :dance2: :dance2:

Beaches, beaches I see no beaches! This is a beach.

What he said. Safe to say you won't ever catch me on a beach with a sunbed anywhere near it. Hell on earth :fuelfire:

All you guys posting photos of glorious beaches... Meanwhile I'm stuck in the south east painting some sheds :headbang: took me a while to do the one at the back yesterday, due to the intense heat. Started at 10am, finished at 7:30pm

Tomorrow evening we'll be making the journey to Glasgow. Rain forecast everyday from Saturday onwards up there

Yes definitely. I'm perfectly happy with 25c. That's about the temperature most of the summer here. Anything more and it starts to get a bit stuffy, especially at night.

What doesn't help is I suffer from hyperhydrosis (excessive sweating). I'm literally a walking wet patch  fortunately it never smells of B.O, but I can only wear black or white tops. Grey is a no go, from previous experience

There's a posh word for every thing. :) Me I'm just plain sweaty.
