Was the first time id driven with the top down as well. What is it they say... sh!t for luck?

I hate driving in a jacket, too restrictive. so I just have my t-shirt or jumper on 8) Sometimes I wear my woolly hat. My hat looks like this: download1.jpg

I have just got a Irvin RAF Sheepskin Jacket from Moto-Lita,

I have a coupe but have been looking at these jackets a lot lately, have you gone for the lightweight one or the full one? Whats it like review wise? £530 is a lot of money for me to spend on a coat but I would like to hear your thoughts as I am very tempted

Got mine from a cirrus - Its the pukka thing and very well put together. Ordered by phone and it fits very well. They make them and will add pockets etc as required.
I bought mine lMay 2010 - yes it was warm - but it was worth buying then as £100 discount / sale price - It sat in the wardrobe till the cold weather started - I'm just lovin' It Price was about £400 - delivered.

Best advice, buy a proper one and it will last more than a lifetime - providing you dont get fat!

Only trouble is the comments (not really bothered) Where's the Spitfire Biggles

A winter jacket and e wooly (beanie) hat,and i am perfectly warm, with no htd seats ,just some Raybans also,to avoid the winter sun  :driving:

I did wonder about the comments, especially driving a BMW, might be thought of a bit ironic wearing what is in design essentially an Allied flying jacket?

....... so top stays up in cold weather.

Man the fun you're missing what a shame :( Some of the best drives are in the winter sun!
You can keep the shorts and t-shirt on but throw something on top and go for a blast roof down in the winter, you'll love it - if it stops tipping down :( :(
15 days through the year and only twice got roof down so far, my worst start to a roofless year in 8 years :( :( :(

PS as i use my car every day it's suit and coat generally for me, leather driving gloves and yes heated seats are a boon :D

Dont worry i have had the odd winter trip on a crisp cold sunday morning sun out with top down normally put a fleece on and most of my spring drives are the same as i tend to go out first light so its still pretty cold even in the summer at 5am plus the roads are lovely then no one around :D

:driving:

A comfy cardigan, my lovely leather gloves (sometimes) and a comfy slouch hat (sometimes). Heater on - at hands+body level/feet.
Sometimes a gilet and a nice scarf, depends on my mood and whether I have a thig love sleeved top on; have gilet on top of that.
LOVE my heated seats :driving:
Also though, mightily impressed by the wind protection in the Roadster compared to a Boxter S. Feel very cosseted in the cabin (is that a word).
