So I called BMW USA today to see if my 06 M Roadster still had roadside assistance coverage. The nice guy on the phone told me that since it's an M, it has lifetime roadside assistance coverage for anything tire-related. They'll come get me and tow me to a dealer for nothing if I have a blow-out, flat, etc. Of course, that mean's I'll be paying dealer prices for tire fixes, so it's not exactly a total win-win. No extra coverage for any other problems, though, so I'll have to pay if something other than a tire dies on the car.
Anyway, I thought that was interesting - lifetime coverage for tire issues. Not sure how much this helps our guys in the UK and other places, but it's pretty cool - anybody else heard of this or used the service?
