First time I've been any distance in this car, really looking forward to it :)

Have a great time bud, me and the wife took our Z4 to North Wales, Snowdonia, Llandudno and Anglesey roof down all the way! Just remember to take some pics for us to see!

Have a good trip. I haven't really ventured south in mine. Loads of trips around Wales and even over to the Isle of Man. Looking to get up to Scotland next year although Cerbera nearly had us over the border on a drive out the other month :driving:

Will the Mini be the support vehicle to carry the luggage now you have downsized from the E85 to the E89? :poke:

Listen to the nay sayer! The e89 accommodates both of our going away bags we used in my e85 and still has the ability to lower the roof, pleasantly surprised us :poke:

Just think of all those wasted years driving an E85 for its bigger boot Rob when you could have had an E89 :poke: have a good trip and remember you don't drive on the right for this trip :P

Enjoy the West Country Rob. :driving: Hope the weather holds up. There was plenty of snow up on the moors today. :D Spotted my first Snowman of the year up on High Willhays.

I have a camping trailer you could borrow, to fit your luggage in :P
Have a good trip Rob

Anyone fancies a party at Smartbear's house, currently vacant?

Enjoy Rob,

There are some great roads down there

Try and to visit the "Valley of the Rocks" up on the North Coast

And take plenty of pictures

Hi Mr Bear,

Don't forget to bring us back a stick of rock or a gallon of scrumpy (2nd thoughts forget the rock) :)

Stu.

Hi
We did a 7 day trip to the Pyrenees this year. Covered 2400 miles. Brilliant. Took 2 soft bags so that they fitted with the top down. Rained a fair bit consdering it was June but still a fabulous trip. Managed 41 mpg throughout. Car was brilliant never missed a beat.
Did a similar trip, 4 days only to the Alps the previous year. Very hot and top down 90% of the time. Just to explain we've also done several long trips within the UK but for shear enjoyment and great roads with no traffic and brilliant surfaces you've gotta do France. We've also done two or three shorter trips to France in an E85. Just go for it and enjoy the car. If you pack well it really is excellent for touring.
i hope you have a great trip
