Road trip to stay goodbye..

Sad week ahead, mixed with catching up with some friends..one of my long standing Uni friend's father passed away a few days ago, a man small in stature that cast a great shadow, will be very sadly missed..his funeral is in Wimborne, so planning a UK tour to say hello to a few Uni, biking and Z4 buddies..strange times..

Remember when a road trip involved just a credit card and some keys..

Wimborne?
Mr S Bear getting a visitor?

Schhh…it’s a little secret…we’re going to spend the night together

I’ve got a little present for him.. closest he’ll get to Skye in a while I suspect… :tumbleweed:

I was going to do a sweep through the Home Counties to catch up with some of my other Forum buddies and then up to Suffolk, Norfolk and Cambridge but it was going to end up being over 2 weeks long…my visa was issued by SWMBO for 7 days…plus coroni lurking again.. :tumbleweed: :driving:

So I’ll see you sometime in 2022 ?

No worries, Ease Danglier is a bit out of the way for you in that timescale, even in a yellow rocket.
Just remember, when you spend your night in the woods with Mr Bear, don't leave anything where it can be trodden in, and dock-leaves are softer than nettles.

Oh no, am under strict instruction that the 2.2 must go to make room for the next one.
Probably stick it on the market straight after Xmas and see what transpires.

Ah indeed, but to be seen to be proactively advertising may mollify the missus if it's successor arrives a little early.
How was I to know it would still be here?

Last month!
But then a lease car cock up meant it had to go out on loan to son-in-law. Who is busy finding all the problems for me to fix.

A sad reason to be making your trip, but you'll certainly get a good opportunity to see how the latest Yellow Peril performs with the current mods!

Hope it all goes well.

Thanks to everyones’ wishes …appreciated.

Did Cheddar Gorge today with my friend Big Bob whose had surgery for brain cancer…so availed ourselves of his disability cards to ease the distance to the cafe,,

Enjoy your trip Peter

Sometimes the saddest events give us the opportunity for the best of times and an ability to reconnect with people

Sorry for your friend’s loss

Ah the open road, hope you have lots of fun, the gorge is lovely and your yellow is like an early spring

Rob

Roofs down in December - Respect.

Very mild and very muddy…so not that hardcore…thanks to Rob for helping me re-adjust the door and remove the now redundant adaptive damper ECU…

Sadly managed to kerb a rear wheel on a drain on a country lane buried in mud n leaves..so maybe gloss black coming….

Gloss black would look better/blend in with the rest of the contrast bits.
