Road Tax cheaper for late Z4

Hi folks,
I've read that the late 09 registered Z4 Coupes have cheaper road tax??? Seems to good to be true.....but I'm sure this myth will be dispelled very shortly by someone on the forum. Thanks in advance, Tom
 
The only tax difference I know of was in 2006, where cars registered prior to March/April are cheaper than those registered later...to the tune of about 50% in the case of a Z4M.
 
No chance I am afraid. 2006 is the break year, anything after does not change for the same engine
 
All from memory based on the various zeds I have owned so please accept my apologies if not completely accurate:

Z3's registered before 2001 with the M52 / M52TU - £295
E85's registered before 23rd March 2006 with the M54 or S54 - £360
E85's registered after 23rd March with the M54 or N52 - £360
E85's registered after 23rd March with the S54 - £630
E89's with the N52 23i / 30i - £330
