Road Angel Plus - dead ?

The Legend
 Exiled Scot in Maidstone
I dug out my road angel at the weekend for a trip to Scotland tomorrow, and plugged it in to charge it. 4 days later and it's showing no signs of life - I've tried USB and mains charging, and poked the reset button a number of times... No rattles except the motion sensor moving inside, and no visible damage. I have not taken it apart though. Yet.

My question is - if you leave them long enough, do lithium ion batteries (or whatever is in there) simply stop working if they are left too long ? The last time I used it was over a year ago, so perhaps it has died from lack of use... Any ideas how I can fix it, or is it gone ? Ta !

Shall plug it back in and see. I guess I'll just need to use dead-reckoning speed control though

It's too late for your trip, but road angel do a good repair service. I had one of the first ones! Now got a connected which is coming up on 3yrs old
