RIP Sabine Schmitz

Had no idea she was ill, such shame to lose her at 51, the disease is horrendous and having just lost my father to it, I know how her family will be feeling.

RIP Sabine

RIP Sabine

This disease as said above is just evil 5 of the nicest people you could wish to meet that i knew have been lost to Cancer over the last few years :(

Loss of a legend. So young and everything to live for. Hopefully the Covid vaccine has proved what the world can do if everyone cooperates. Perhaps Cancer should be the next on the list

I was gutted when I read the news.

RIP Sabine, and condolences to her family and friends.

Truly shocking, such a character, great personality and proof that us girls can drive

Same age that my first wife was when she died of cancer.

Horrible disease. RIP.
Indeed, mine was 45. Left 12-y-o and 14-y-o boys behind.
And the sad thing is, Covid has probably meant more will die due to lack of treatment.
It's a real b****rd!

I just watched the tribute. How very touching. She was truly iconic. Always a smile and always enjoying.

For me this video shows just how well she know the ring just a few corners in she knows there is a bit of run off area to be used, she drives wide and faster than the other drivers and uses the extra bit of tarmac and passes a few drivers in one go.

The Top Gear tribute will be on BBC1 at 19.30 this evening.
