I didn't know who Joe Cox was until today. I didn't share her political passions. But reading today's events just now has left a small whole in my world for the moment. RIP Joe and heart felt sympathy to all who knew you.

This is a particularly shocking and utterly tragic event, when you think of her life lost, her husband's loss and how he's going to have his girls asking when is mummy is coming home and them having to grow up without her it's beyond me. Accidents happen in life and it's a risk we all take stepping out of the front door but this was a premeditated attack by someone I don't have strong enough words for.
