RIP. Jimmy Hill

Like or loath him, Jimmy Hill was a football legend who brought football to the TV screens of the majority of us, throughout the 70's & 80's on Match of the Day.

Sadly he died today aged 87. . RiP Jimmy

Yeah v sad , heard a radio interview only a few weeks ago with his wife discussing her book release about the family's long battle with his Alzheimer's

Very sad times, my dad (Bob Gardam) always spoke very highly of Jimmy and told many a great story about him and their adventures together.

I heard he played for Doncaster Rovers and had a big beard at the time - any one know for sure?

As already said - the face and voice of football when I was younger - sad to hear of his death.
