Cottage Groove doesn't even exist any more... a lot of the public housing has been removed and gentrified with mixed income housing. Plenty of Condo's/Lofts/townhomes and such now. One of the few things King Daley actually did correctly

NW side of the city... I live in a area called Hermosa (Diversy and Cicero)... i never knew the area was called Hermosa until recently lol.
 
Outstanding. It's funny how so many peeps will say they are from Chicago and they live in Waukegan. It's not the same, not even close actually. As an adult I lived off Diversey and Sheridan Road, raised in the Marquette Park area.

I absolutely 100% agree with your statement... I help run another forum, which is comprised of mostly SRT brand cars, we are based around Chicago and such and when I first starting hangin out with everyone 4 years ago, i expected to hear from people actually in Chicago... people chimed in from Schaumburg, Cicero, Alsip, Oaklawn, Morton Grove, Barrington, Downers Grove.... Every which place but actually with in the chicago city limits... Some of the places were just out side of chicago like Norridge, which ok, i can understand that... but Schaumburg? Barrington? these places are 45 minutes outside of chicago lol

I'm still on the site and no basically everyone single person on the forum, but to this day, 90% are from outside of the city lol
