Ring Taxi's

I'm looking to book a ring taxi for my trip in September but judging by the dates released so far for the BMW taxi I'm going to have to look for different one.

I've seen Jag do one but I can't see where I can get any info or book it.

What other options do I have?

The official 'Ring taxi is operated by BMW (they have on-site premises), used to be in M5's then M3's (which I think are still in for the year but not been yet).

Worth doing, but get 3 people together otherwise it's expensive......well worth doing once just for the fun of hurtling round fast than you will ever be able to drove yourself in a family saloon car :D

I didn't book in advance nor did anyone else I know, just turn up in the morning on the day and see what's left......always worked for anyone I've been with......

It's the new M5 this year.

I would like to try and book something as I don't want to get all the way there and be disapointed. If they have them on the day I'd probably book it too for a comparison.

It will be two of us so it will be fairly expensive but I still think well worth it.

Anyone tried a none BMW ring taxi?

There's the Aston Martin Vantage N24 'co-pilot' experience, but it's £250/€295 per lap - but again, they're only released about 4 weeks ahead.

Don't forget that the BMW Ring Taxi dates come out in batches, so you have to buy a voucher up front (when a new batch is released), and then wait for a batch of dates to be released, then book one of the available dates. They're usually released about a month in advance, and I suggest you sign up on the link provided so that you're informed when a new batch of tickets/dates are released.

It's all a bit of a faff really.

It's odd - I found that I was never able to book the official 'Ring taxi in advance, but when I (and several others on different trips) went up in the morning there was always availability......

The Aston sounds good but at £250 per person it's a bit rich for me.

I'm on the email list for the BMW dates but as soon as I get the email they are all booked plus I don't think the BMW taxi will be running on the dates we are going.

I'm hoping we can book on the day as I would love to go round in the M5 so fingers crossed.

So does anyone know how I can book the Jag or any other multi seat taxi?

Don't do the Aston - based on my ownership on the V8V (alebit it not the N24) it would be hugely disappointing!

It's a completely different proposition though, as you'll be going at 9-10/10ths with a driver who knows the track, in a race car.

It's also only got 2 seats, so there's no room for more than one passenger, so the price compare quite well with a lap in a road-going M5.

All AMV8's only have 2 seats so the same as the road car. I'd imagine it would be hugely disappointing in comparison to the BMW, but that's just me........these are not good cars nor sports cars......the BMW drivers don't drive at 9/10 or 10/10ths more like 5/10ths of their ability, can't imagine the Astons would going all out either tbh.
