Ring banana

There's an eye opening and interesting video on bridge to gantry titled " ring banana " . It's worth sitting through the first five mins if your thinking of investing in expensive mods for your track days , you may think twice after watching it :driving:

Think you mean this.

Though having managed 6 minutes of the video I was dying of boredom, I asume he made it to the end in 9:21. Am I missing something, wrong video maybe. :?

Watch the rest , one way adjustable shocks , track tyres , 90 bhp and a good driver equals 8.39 bridge to gantry ! The first part of the video is hard work , but the lap is good . It's on a track day so it is quiet and clear . They are just proving that high power , expensive spec multi adjustable gear is a waste of most peoples money .

Fair enough, 8:39 is a decent lap. I remember 12 years ago at the ring, in my old Fiat Coupe. I had about 240 bhp and was struggling to follow a guy in a stripped out mk1 Golf GTI... and for context we passed an Elise at full chat, amongst other stuff. I'll remember that particular lap for ever. :D :driving:

It is a good lap but the car is a heap , I wouldn't want to be a passenger in it at those speeds ! The guys doing it are good drivers , much better at driving than presenting , that said they are Italian and Greek and their English is excellent .
