So I am thinking ahead to Winter, and want to get a spare set of wheels now to stuck the winter tyres on. Now I am not bothered what they are, but I do know that you have to get same PCD, bore, etc. Does anybody know if there are other models BMW or otherwise that will match the z4, as most ads on eBay don't tell me enough info to see whether they will. Thanks in advance.

Just found answer myself -
Bmw1 e87
Bmw 3 e36, e46, e90,
BMW m3 e36
Vauxhall insignia
Lexus ls600
Jag xj 91-03
Jag xjs
Jag xk8

Hi..

I think you might find, that Z3 wheels - also fit the Z4..

Great that your thinking about winter tyres and winter wheels already.. A lot, tend to think about it in Oct' Nov' or Dec', when the winter tyre prices, are at a premium and at there most expensive..

You'll find that 16" and 17" wheels and tyres are a good bit cheaper than 18"s, for example..

Good luck with your quest for the winter wheels and tyres though..

A decent set of 17's OEM BMW should not be more than £150 , , sell the tyres from them off ebay & get winter rubber well before october 8)
but then being a NDB you probably know the route already

So pleased I kept the 201's that came on my car. I am thinking the same, winter tyres! And it will keep my 108's out of the salt.

Here you go NDB , jump on these quick :) smaller offset also so they should look great on the Z http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-motorbikes/genuine-set-of-16-bmw-5-series-e39-alloy-wheels-and-winter-tyres/1021040544
courier £30 + a set of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SPIGOT-RINGS-72-6-74-1-BMW-E34-E46-E60-E90-REPLICA-X5-/140521992897?pt=UK_Cars_Parts_Vehicles_Wheels_tyre_Trims_Trims_ET&hash=item20b7c372c1 & you're sorted

mr wilks, checked it out thanks. Slightly confused though as this would change the overall size of my wheel from 24.97" to 25.74". A. Would this fit, and b. Would it not give false speedo readings?

What size wheel / tyre combo are you at now ?
If i were to fit the 16's on my Zc ( which i couldn't due to caliper size ) then the diameter difference overall is approx 8mm with speedo deviation reading of 2 or 3 MPH which shouldn't affect the drive or safety of the vehicle .

Then i don't see a problem , maybe a speedo difference of 1/2mph & a softer ride but otherwise all good :?
They even look good IMO for 16 's

mr wilks, have texted him !

Good move , worse case scenario is you incubate them until the winter panic kicks in ( which it always does ) & pop them on ebay for £325
