Rim Size Question

I'm planning in purchasing some rims through Tirerack.com and my question is if I choose to go with 19" rims, would I have to buy anything in addition then just tires? Heard somewhere that I shouldn't go higher then 18" but I'm not sure why.

I'm looking at these right here.

I have a 03' 2.5 roadster

This is how they look in 18"...

If Tirerack knows you are buying them for a Z4 they should fit without any problem if you go with the tire size they recommend. I went up one size in width without any problems.

I guess I'm confused because I heard people talking about having to get spacers.
Not necessary as if you purchase these rims (ASA) from Tirerack for the Z4 the offset is correct. The BMW lug bolts will even fit and they will supply you with BMW hub caps. Give them a call as their sales people are very helpful.

Thanks for the info folks, love how the Wheel and Trye Bible includes personal opinions. :D
Porsche designs and manufacturers some of the highest performance cars in the world (with the exception of the butt-ugly Cayenne).
