Right sill water trap?

Has anyone found out if there is a drain hole in the right sill? I heard water sloshing and checked the roof drains, but they were open. I noticed water coming from the jack points earlier on, moved the jack pad and water came out by the bucket loads.

Others have had exactly the same issue. I don't recall what the solution was though. Seem to recall some drilling a small hole in the jacking point.

Do a search on here though, you will find the answer.

When I was recently checking the roof drains on my z4 when I jacked up the rear some water escaped from the front of the sill I asked my local indie about it and he told me it was normal so there must be a drain hole at the front somewhere

When I checked my roof drains by pouring water around the back of the softtop I had a bucket under the rear drain hole but not much water came out. To my horror I then discovered that I was flooding the front of the garage as it was all running out from the front of the cill. I believe my garage floor may have a slight incline and I was advised that this was normal and that there are some small drain points to the front cill under the wheel arch. Presumably you need to ensure these are not blocked.

If it was just in one sill, I would check to see if maybe the door membrane is not loose and the problem is that and not your top drains.
