Is it a floppy you are talking about John, or a Hard one?

Or those that say 'Bare with me'.
I reply 'oh are we both taking our clothes off?'
Get some baffled looks.

Also anybody with a 35i, 35is, 23i etc they are not 3.5i , 3.5is , or 2.3i.
I have yet to see someone mistake their 18i for a 1.8i though :)

Is rotors acceptable?

Doing something for 'piece of mind'.

No, you either give someone a 'piece of your mind' when you're irritated with them, or you do something so you are subsequently not worrying about it, ie. for 'peace of mind'....

I'd like to nominate "should of", "could of" and "would of" as worthy additions to the list...

Also, its tyres, brakes, discs and cars.
NOT tyre's, brake's, disc's and car's !!!!

Unless you're talking about the car's tyres...

Or the car's tyres if you have more than one!

And don't mention those "sort-after" M-Sport seats. :headbang:

And another thing, but this is less annoying and more 'why didn't you proof read this first?'.
I accept though that this may be down to my warped sense of humour.
The amount of times I open a post only to see that the title has misled me.

My current favourite is: 'I just put a deposit on an E86'. Ewww! Hope it wipes off ok.

E85/86 problems:- "Help! Where to get a new knob, as mine is fraying".
Just for you Mart....in

Isn't that cars' tyres?

Not necessarily. The definitive article can be used with a plural noun as well as a singular.

If you buy the Mrs a bunch of flowers she may say she likes "the flowers", meaning those specific ones rather than "flowers" in the sense of flowers in general.
